What are the advantages of CNC machining in the sheet metal industry

CNC machining refers to the processing carried out with CNC machining tools. CNC index-controlled machine tools are programmed and controlled by CNC machining language, generally G code. The CNC machining G code language informs the CNC machine tool which Cartesian azimuth coordinates to use for the machining tool, and controls the tool’s feed rate and spindle speed, as well as tool converter, coolant and other functions.

The centrifugal force in CNC machining expands the oscillation caused by the imbalance in a relationship proportional to the square of the speed. The resulting NC machining mid-oscillation addition minimizes bearing, bearing, shaft, spindle and gear life.

Before balancing the tool in the CNC machining center, it is necessary to measure the size of the unbalance and the position of the viewpoint of each selected calibration plane. These variables are measured on two common types of balancing machines: non-rotating or gravimetric machines for measuring single plane unbalance, and rotating or centrifuge machines for measuring single plane or two plane unbalance. Other methods of CNC machining components with small imbalances are adding solder to the component body or adding components to the pre-drilled holes. Regarding the tool, when you determine the unbalance and decide that it is necessary to remove the material to get the correct balance, the easiest and most effective way is to drill.

CNC machining skills have now been widely promoted, and most machining workshops have CNC machining capabilities. The most common CNC machining methods in typical machining workshops are CNC milling, CNC turning and CNC EDM wire cutting (Wire EDM). The things that do CNC milling are called CNC milling machines or CNC machining centers. A lathe that performs CNC turning is called a CNC turning center. The CNC machining G code can be programmed manually, but the general machine shop uses CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing) software to actively read the CAD (Computer Aided Design) file and generate a G code program to control the CNC machine tool.
